General Information
The Motorola Flexar Base/Repeater is an early vintage desktop repeater base. It is crystal controlled, but only uses 2 inexpensive crystals to set up.
The receive crystal is located in the metal housing, and the transmit is located on top.
You can still purchase crystals from any of the big crystal dealers, and, with a little tuning, you can have a super neat inexpensive repeater.
They can also be interfaced with a MRTI Phone Patch, and all the parts are interchangeable with the Maxar/Maxar 80 Series mobile radio. Hence the upkeep, and maintenance is a breeze.
The part number for the manual is 6881045E10 and should be used with a supplement, 6881035E55.
